Tanya Davis holds a bachelor’s degree in counseling and a master’s degree in Narrative Medicine. She is also a Spiritual Direction for Writers® Certified Guide and offers Narrative Writing Workshops, one-on-one Narrative Writing Sessions, and custom group sessions. In her book Threads: A Tapestry of Life in the Black Community of Shiloh and Beyond, she offers a window into a vibrant African American community in Asheville, North Carolina.
